Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open Google Maps
- Locate and open the Google Maps app on your device.
- If you see the message “Make it your map,” tap Skip.

Step 2: Allow Location Access
- Tap the Locate Me button (target icon) in the lower-right corner of the map.
- When prompted, select “While Using This App” to allow Maps to access your location.

Step 3: Enable High Accuracy Mode
- If you see the message “For a better experience, your device will need to use Location Accuracy,” tap Turn On.
- The map should zoom in and display a blue pin representing your current location.
Troubleshooting Tips
- If the above does not work, you can also make sure it is turned on in Settings--> Location--> Location Services
- Location Accuracy, Wi-Fi scanning, and Bluetooth Scanning must be on
