Clear and secure password rules help protect user accounts.
Overview
To create a secure password, ensure it meets all of the following requirements:
- Minimum of 8 characters
- At least 1 uppercase letter (A–Z)
- At least 1 lowercase letter (a–z)
- At least 1 number (0–9)
- Must not include common words (e.g., password, admin)
- Must not include predictable patterns (e.g., 123456, qwerty)
- Must not contain company name (Locusview, LVS, contractor name, etc)
Best Practices
- Use a combination of unrelated words, numbers, and symbols.
- Avoid using personal information such as your name or birthdate.
- Consider using a password manager to generate and store secure passwords.
